On a personal note, today is going to be an extremely long day for me. For those of you unaware: I sell beer. And in the event that you're not familiar with American festivities: today is the day before Thanksgiving; the Annual Feast of Feasting.
That combination means that I can expect to spend eight hours running full-tilt, carrying rather heavy cases of fragile bottles for people who often as not, will have started their festive drinking around the same time most folks were pouring their morning coffee.
In my profession, this is pretty much our annual Day of Hate. It's not going to be fun.
Gonna be an ugly day.
To add insult to injury, not only do I have nowhere to spend Thanksgiving tomorrow but since Thursday is my usual day off, it's not even a special break for me.
