Ricky Gervais on losing his religion:
I think it's rather beautifully said: Simple, humble and expressing a continued awe at the mysteries of the universe around us, as well as an awe and respect that is frequently denied to those that think it might just be nature and chance, rather than the designs of some magnificent Sky Father.
And that those miraculously long odds, speak ably to wonder.
At the same time, I think Gervais speaks out against the central problem with organized faith: the cancer of top-down morality control.
At any rate, I think he provides an excellent argument against the aggressive so-called "New Atheists". Why get rid of religious bastards so you can be a bastard on your own?
I promise by the way, that this is the last video for the day.
