The Dead

Sad news for Pittsburgh: Andy Warhol's older brother has died.

After their father died in 1942, John Warhola essentially raised young Andy, seeing to it that he made it through college. Additionally, he was pivotal in establishing the Andy Warhol Foundation and bringing the Warhol Museum (largest museum dedicated to a single artist in the United States, by the by), to Pittsburgh.

And yes, Andy Warhol was a Pittsburgher, damnit. His family owns the Warhola Scrap Yard over on the North Side. And he went to CMU for crying out loud! He's one of ours.
