I have to say that I don't really regret canceling my Economist subscription. It's a wonderful magazine, don't get me wrong but simply too, too much to keep up with on a weekly basis. I'm pretty happy with what they offer online.

Which brings me naturally to their column on language.

Who'd have thought the end of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" would lead to this? We're now fielding the USS Ponce!
