One interesting thing about the North Korean press is that they tend to publish very, very little news about tragedies affecting their rivals (or most hated enemies). Searching their archives around 9/11, one can find a single mention of the terrorist attack.
As such...What tsunami?
They do however have a bone to pick with Japan about the theft of ceramics during the Imjim Patriotic War of 1592-1598.
