Your Daily North Korean Headline

The horse was delicious.
Well, it appears as though anybody that's anybody is gearing up for Kim Il Sung's birthday.

I'm sure my invitation was delayed in the mail.

Anyways:

Kim Il Sung's Birthday Commemorated in India

Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- India's newspaper Krishna Aberta and magazine International Social Look commemorated the birthday of President Kim Il Sung.

The paper on March 28 carried articles under the headline of "On the Occasion of the 99th Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung" with his photo.

In an article titled "Mangyongdae" the paper introduced members of the Mangyongdae family and noted that Kim Il Sung left Mangyongdae, his birthplace, with high ambition to liberate the country.

Mangyongdae has become a sacred place of the revolution visited by not only the Korean people but also the world progressives following the Juche idea and aspiring after independence, the paper said.

The March issue of the magazine said in an article titled "Kim Il Sung, Eternal President" that he is the founder of the DPRK demonstrating its dignity as politico-ideological power, military power and scientific-technological power in the international community. It elaborated on his exploits for nation building.

His idea and exploits have been creditably carried forward by leader Kim Jong Il, the magazine said.

It stressed that the revolutionary history of the President is going on in reality of the DPRK.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any information on Google about either of these magazines so I guess I'll just have to take their word on it. I think that the final line in the article sounds slightly...desperate shall we say?

Anyways, nice of them to give the old guys party a write up. I await my invitation with baited breath! I've got my dancing shoes picked out already!
